A recent study conducted by the University of Pennsylvania on aggression in dogs found that Pit Bulls and Rottweilers aren’t the big, bad MFers of the canine world that most people think they are.
The study asked questions of 6,000 dog owners of differing breeds about their particular dog.
The most aggressive dog breed?
Dachshounds. Followed closely by Chihuahuas.
I can verify the dachshound and chihuahua conclusion through personal experience. My family (when I was a lot younger) has had both breeds as pets. Actually, some of my family still has doxies. A couple years ago Mrs. Old Fart and I took one of our most relaxed and gentle greyhounds with us on a trip to visit the family with doxies. I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes. One 60 pound greyhound being attacked by probably around 4 or 5 minature dachshounds. Yep, these were mini doxies! We saved the greyhound from doom (LOL), but she was petrified of those doxies the rest of the visit.
Oh, and in case you were wondering… greyhounds ranked as one of the LEAST aggressive breeds.

See the nice picture of doggie to the right, well a bunch of muslims in the Scottish district of Tayside are throwing a shit-fit about it because in the muslim world dogs are “ritually unclean”.
Uh… to my Scottish muslim readers (ha, like I have any!)…

Now if the police were running around with the dog, making you take a piece of paper from its unclean mouth, then I’d probably not think you are being idiots… but this a postcard to inform you morons, with doilies on your heads, that the police have a new phone number for non-emergencies.

My dogs are lazy. Extremely lazy. They’ll lay around for 23+ hours, but they do have bursts of energy. Especially when there are squirrels or cats just outside of my fence.
My breed of choice is known by the following names.
45 Mph Couch Potato
The worlds second fastest land mammal.
And of course… Greyhound.
I currently have three retired NGA Greyhounds. Trigger (raced as Semper Fi), Calamity (raced as Trix Calamity J), and Morgan (raced as Trix Morgan E). Calamity and Morgan are littermates.
All of these hounds (and most of the other 9 I’ve had) were adopted through the Pups Without Partners greyhound adoption program at the Woodlands Greyhound Park in KCK.
So, here is video of some of my “kids”. Some of it is video of actual races.
Calamity (female) racing at the Woodlands. She had “early speed” and loved to dive into the first turn. She’s the #8 white dog
Trigger is a Blue Brindle male. He had late speed, and loved to go wide after the last turn. He’s Semper Fi (#8) in this video
